Discovered by renowned filmmakers Benny and Josh Safdie while on the subway in New York, Arielle Holmes is about to hit headlines when she appears at this year's Venice Film Festival to promote the director brothers' film Heaven Knows What.

Taking a gritty look at lives of people living on the streets of New York, Holmes plays a semi-fictionalised version of herself in the eagerly anticipated project from the Safdies, whose previous critically acclaimed projects include The Pleasure of Being Robbed and Daddy Longlegs.
